Installing KDE4 on Debian GNU / Linux

Reading the various posts of recent days related to KDE, today I decided to try out KDE4 with 'only GNU / Linux that gives me satisfaction: Debian!

I started with a normal network install (netinstall) and I did not install any unnecessary package (no choice of additional packages). Just did a reboot, I upgraded to Debian [...]

Screenlets: old ideas and new hype

Update: of course I had a lost a piece of the question. There is a package for Ubuntu / Debian, which simplifies the 'installation and contains some additional screenlets, as well as a convenient tool to configure everything. Everything is available at Desktop Screenlets.
