My name is Paul Canavese , but the network is also known by the nickname "Keltika." I was born on 28 August 1975 to Loano in the province of Savona and I live in Boissano (SV).
I am an IT consultant specializing in 'management information systems and applications for the management know-how.

What I am
I have an 'excellent knowledge of both administrative operating systems Microsoft Windows and GNU / Linux, but I also worked on Sun Solaris, IBM AIX and SGI Irix.
Since 2003 I provide computer support (installation, configuration, repair) for a mechanical engineering major of Savona. Mostly I deal with 'on-site service for the corporate fleet (about 300 clients). These range from desktop PCs and office automation tasks to dedicated computer control of industrial robots, the intranet server (mail, web proxy, file server) the network equipment (cables, switches, routers, perimeter firewalls), workstations CAD-based x86 and Windows 2000 as SGI-IRIX and IBM RISC-Aix.
I also deal with development-oriented web, from site to showcase the small shop to information portals for several thousand users, through personal blogs, forums, etc. ...
I have a good knowledge of Apache (web), Novell Netware and Samba (file server), firewall and proxy network level (iptables) and application (Squid, Socks, etc ...).
Are actively involved in managing a community project linked to the world of free software, and in particular the Debian GNU / Linux. The community, currently composed of about 1000 people, has created two very popular sites: www.debianizzati.org , which deals with news related to Debian and hosts a support forum for users; guide.debianizzati.org , a wiki that houses the documentation written by users, including mine .
I collaborated with the Centre and telecommunication services' s University of Genoa ( CSITA ) implementation of intranet portals, solutions, authentication, authorization and accounting ( AAA ) based on LDAP, VPN and Radius.
CSITA I always worked on a project for the management of library users online Unified Catalog of integrated library systems (SBI) and the City 's University of Genoa, platform Aleph 500 . The Unified Catalog is one of the leading Italian, with more than 500,000 bibliographic records available to the public.
